What makes Lisle different
More than half of Lisle's housing stock was built between 1970 and 1989, the era when the Green Trails planned community, Pine Hill, and Oak Hill Estates were developed to house the engineers and executives pouring into the I-88 corridor. Those homes are now 35 to 55 years old. The original kitchens feature closed-off floor plans, oak laminate cabinetry, and tile countertops. Primary bathrooms still carry single-sink vanities and tub-shower combos that predate the decade they belong in. Electrical panels that topped out at 100 amps were never designed for today's EV chargers, home offices, and smart-home infrastructure.
